Egyptian massage
Traditional Egyptian massage, also known as pharaonic massage, has very ancient origins. The aim of this wellness treatment in Egypt is to relieve tension and stress. It also helps to improve skin tissue and brings harmony to the mind, body and emotions.
EMR - Classical massage
The classic EMR massage helps with back pain and posture problems, promotes blood circulation, relaxes and relieves stress: in many cases, a medical massage is a good therapy option. It is often prescribed in combination with other treatment methods such as physiotherapy.
Please check with your health insurance provider in advance to find out whether the treatment costs will be covered or whether additional insurance is required.
Classical massage
Massage is a primal remedy - it is the oldest remedy of all. The effect of massage is based, on the one hand, on promoting blood circulation and metabolism at the site of the massage and, on the other hand, on stimulating many nerves in the skin and muscles, thereby promoting the mobility of the individual layers and loosening adhesions. In addition, the massage has a positive effect on the psyche and senses, helps to relax and calm the body and promotes general well-being.
Lomi-Lomi massage
Lomi-Lomi is a Hawaiian massage technique that aims to treat not only the body but also the soul.
Using warm oil, your tension is released with flowing, gentle and powerful movements of the hands, forearms and elbows.
Hot-Stones massage
The hot stone massage uses warm volcanic stones. They are passed over the oiled skin. The application was valued as early as 200 BC in ancient China to revitalise tired muscles. And not just in the Far East: this form of massage developed in all parts of the world - independently of each other and in different forms. However, all these different massage styles have one thing in common: the beneficial combination of massage, thermotherapy and energy work. Either individual parts of the body or the whole body are worked on, sometimes gently, sometimes vigorously, and pleasantly warmed through.
Lava Shell massage
The lava shell massage combines a classic massage with massage oils and the innovative, heat-emitting lava shells. The calm massage strokes are performed with pleasantly smooth clamshells. They glide over the skin with varying degrees of pressure, releasing deep-acting heat into the body. The massage shells are used with different techniques and can therefore also treat deep muscle areas. The lava shell massage originated in the Philippines.
Herbal stamp massage
The herbal stamp treatment combines wonderful fragrances, a wonderful massage, cosy warmth, pure natural oils and the soothing deep effect of medicinal herbs, flowers or spices. It is a soothing wellness treatment with a therapeutic effect - cleansing, loosening and nourishing.
Foot reflexology massage
Healing through the feet is a concept that can be found in many ancient civilisations. In the tomb of the Egyptian physician Ankhmahor, pictograms were found that probably date back to around 2400 BC and depict the treatment of hands and feet. There is also evidence that feet were treated in ancient China, Japan and India. The various forms of reflexology developed from these traditions, and the neurologist Sir Henry Head found a connection between sensitive areas of skin and diseased organs. He assumed that they were supplied by nerves from the same part of the spinal column. This early work laid the foundation for the concept of body zones, from which today's form of reflexology developed.
Aroma oil massage
Aromatic oil therapy is part of herbal medicine (phytotherapy) and has recently become increasingly popular. This form of therapy has a long - almost 6000 year old - tradition. The Egyptians, Romans and Greeks were already using essential oils to treat mood disorders and health problems.
Aromatherapy can provide relief from illness and at the same time increase well-being.
Ayurveda pregnancy massage
Ayurvedic tradition recommends that pregnant women receive regular massages in addition to a healthy and appropriate diet. Both ensure that mother and child are well supplied with all the nutrients they need and that they feel comfortable and secure.
